Bhadrak: Central Excise department today busted a fake liquor-manufacturing unit under Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district and arrested three persons in connection with the case.
Police recovered over 200 litres of rectified spirit besides thousands of bottles, caps and wrappers from the facility, a senior official said.
Acting on a tip-off, the excise officials raided the site and found the culprits making liquor by adding water, chemicals and colour.
An FIR has been lodged against the accused persons and further legal proceedings are underway, a senior police official added.
