Kalahandi: A 45-year-old Assistant Executive engineer was found dead under suspicious circumstances inside his house in Mukhiguda under Jaipatna block in Kalahandi on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Karji, a native of Paralakhemundi of Rayagada district.
The exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. It is said that he had consumed alcohol last night and the door of his room was locked inside. He was reportedly staying alone in his house. The police on receiving information reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
