Angul: An elephant died after reportedly being hit by a train near Dehurisahi in Jarpada forest range of Angul district.
According to reports, the elephant was crossing the railway line when it was hit by a train on Thursday night and killed on the spot.
The forest department officials rushed to the spot after getting information about the incident and further investigation is underway.
