Sundargarh: An elderly woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant while another person was injured at Kulba village under Ujalpur Forest Range in Sundargarh district on Thursday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred while the woman and a man were going somewhere when they were attacked by the elephant. Subsequently, a woman was killed while other sustained grievous injuries.
On being informed, the forest official reached the spot and initiated a probe in this regard.
