Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has formally begun investigation into the lady blackmailer Archana Nag’s case with registering case.
The central agency has registered case against Archana and her husband Jagabandhu Chand.
Besides Nag-Chand couple, the ED also filed cases against two others identified as Khageswar Sahu and Sradhanjali Behera.
According to sources, the agency will soon serve notice to those linked to Archana Nag case. The ED will examine the bank statements of all accused regarding their financial transaction.
The central agency had acquired the FIR copies from Nayapalli and Khandagiri police stations.
The Commissionerate Police had handed over the FIR copies separately to the ED on October 27.
Film producer Akshya Parija had lodged the FIR against Archana for blackmailing him while another woman also lodged a complaint at Khandagiri police station.
