ED attaches Rs 13.30 cr assets of AT Group, seals Sarathi Baba’s Ashram


Bhubaneswar: After attaching properties of Sarathi Baba, Sura Baba and Dhalsamant brothers, Enforcement Directorate (ED) today attached the movable and immovable properties of Odisha-based fraudulent firm Artha Tatwa (AT) Group worth Rs 13.30 crore.

ED sources said, the properties that are attached include lands and buildings valued at Rs 10 crore and Rs 3 crore recovered which was given to a Kolkata-based firm for a house.

The properties were attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

On the other hand, a four-member team today reached at Sarathi Baba’s ashram in Barimula of Kendrapada to probe into financial irregularities.

Meanwhile, the sleuths have also sealed 11 rooms of the Barimula ashram.
