New Delhi: The first Economic Survey of Narendra Modi-led NDA government’s second tenure will be tabled in the Parliament today at 12 PM.
Chief Economic Adviser KV Subramanian will table the new Economic Survey in Parliament
The Economic Survey will be presented in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
The economic survey is a three-part document. It is an annual document by the Finance Ministry and Government of India which reviews the economy of the country over the past year and the current financial year.
While the first one gives an overview and opinion of the CEA on key issues and solutions pertaining to the economy, the second part contains key data from various departments and ministries. This data is a reflection of the present state of the Indian economy.
