Earthquake Of 3.7 Magnitude Hits Kashmir

Srinagar: An earthquake of magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Kashmir on Saturday, although there were no reports of any casualty or damage to property.

Reportedly, the temblor struck at 12.37 am, officials of the disaster management authority said.

On October 8, 2005, an earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale killed over 80,000 people on the two sides of the Line of Control.
