Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar regional centre informed that Odisha will experience dry spell for the next five days.
However, the state will witness dense fog on January 22 and January 23. Besides, coastal and interior regions of Odisha will face the pangs of dense fog.
As per reports, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsingpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Nayagarh, Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Koraput and Malkangiri districts were enveloped by thick fog today.
Reportedly, Malkangiri recorded the lowest temperature of 9 degrees Celcius today. On the other hand, Sundargarh (12), Angul (13.6), and Jhasuguda (14.4) also faced the cold waves today.
