Drunken Youths Create Nuisance in Bhubaneswar’s Botanical garden

Bhubaneswar: While denizens are opting for less crowded places to spend time at amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Drunken youths in inebriated conditions created a nuisance at Botanical botanical garden situated on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

The accused were also detained over the same. The detained persons have been identified as Manoranjan Behera (28), Abhishek Shukla (35), Barada Pattnaik (35).

According to information, youths were picnicking at the spot no 10 in the botanical garden where many families were also present for the same purpose.

However, a few moments later, the trio started consuming alcohol hurled abuses at the people present there.

Later, a journalist informed the Deputy Director of zoo’s deputy director, Bimal Prasanna Acharya, and the police controller room about the matter.

On receiving information, police along with the garden forester and other officers reached the spot and warned the accused to stop the unruly behaviour.

However, a few moments later they continued with their uncivilised attitude and attempted to attack the journalist after they came to know that he had clicked their photos.

After locals’, intervention locals managed to control them.

Following this, cops detained those accused persons.
