A total of nine teams comprising over 40 wildlife experts will take part in the dolphin census.
The final report of the dolphin count in Chilika lagoon would be published after the experts prepare the final statistics, officials said.
Keeping in view, the plying of motorised boats of fishermen and tourist boats will be stopped for the smooth conduct of census drive.
Dolphin census in Gahiramatha was conducted for the first time in the year 2015.
