New Delhi: State-run oil marketing companies increased the pump price of diesel by 15-16 paise for the second successive day but kept petrol rates unchanged for the third consecutive day across the country today.
As per data from Indian Oil Corporation website, in Delhi, diesel prices rose to Rs 66.34 a litre as against Rs 66.19 per litre on Thursday while petrol is retailing at Rs 74.63 a litre, no change in price compared with yesterday’s price, as per data from Indian Oil Corporation website.
In Mumbai, citizens have to pay Rs 69.43 for a litre of diesel after a 16 paise jump over Thursday’s rate. Petrol prices were stagnant at Rs 80.29 a litre. Similarly, in Kolkata, the retail prices of diesel and petrol are Rs 68.60 a litre (15 paise increase) and Rs 77.29 (unchanged) per litre, respectively.
