Dhoni becomes fifth Indian to score 10,000 runs


Sydney: Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the fifth Indian to score 10,000 runs in One-Day Internationals (ODI) for India in Sydney on Saturday.

Dhoni reached the landmark in the first ODI match against Australia at Sydney ground today.

Dhoni achieved the feat in 282 innings and at an average of more than 50. He has scored 10 hundred and 67 fifties for India.

MS Dhoni has returned to the Indian team for the ODI series in Australia after sitting out T20I series against West Indies and Australia.

Apart from Dhoni, only Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and Rahul Dravid have scored more than 10000 runs for the country in ODIs.
