Dharmendra Pradhan urges Naveen for Medical College in Bhadrak
Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to send a proposal to Centre for a medical college in Bhadrak.
Pradhan has requested Patanik to send the proposal to the Ministry of Minority Affairs for establishment of a medical college in Bhadrak district under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakaram (PMJVK).
The Union Minister has also written a letter to Minorities Affairs Minister at the Centre Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi to make necessary arrangement for the establishment of a hostel for girls belonging to minorities community studying in Bhubaneswar.
Pradhan in his letter to Odisha CM said that Bhadrak district does not have any tertiary medical facility and added that a medical college in the district will be highly beneficial for the people of the region.
He has even promised that the Centre would provide sixty percent of fund required for setting up of the medical college in Bhadrak.
