Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday reviewed the preparedness of possible cyclonic storm Yaas with IMD DG Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, and NDRF DG Satyanarayan Pradhan.
Pradhan reviewed the preparedness by the NDRF and its forces.
“NDRF is fully prepared to extend its full support and forces in post-cyclone relief and rescue operations, ” said Pradhan after discussing with the NDRF DG.
The Indian government is well prepared to tackle the possible cyclone. “I will also discuss with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The cyclone would be tackled in coordination between the Odisha and the Central governments.
He also advised people not to panic and be cautious for every possible situation.
