Dharmendra Pradhan, family pay respect to COVID-19 warriors


New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and his family on Saturday paid respect to COVID-19 warriors by singing Bande Utkal Janani at his official residence.

The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik had urged the Odias staying in India and abroad to sing Bande Utkal Janani at 5.30 on Saturday to pay respect to COVID-19 warriors.

Pradhan said the true patriotism is to fight against coronavirus and save the countrymen from the dreaded disease. The union minister said doctors, nurses, police personnel and social activists have shown their patriotism by serving the people at this critical juncture. He said it is incumbent upon all the Odias to pay respect and display affection to the COVID warriors.
