Bhubaneswar: Police DG Abhay along with Director Intelligence Lalit Dash and DIG SIW Anirudh Singh visited Bolangir and Kalahandi districts to review Left Wing Extremism (LWE) matters on Saturday.
DGP Abhay reviewed the security measures and anti-Naxal operation in Kalahandi with DIG CRPF, DIG SWR, and district SP.
DGP, at Bolangir, met the police personnel who have done good work in crime detection, NDPS detection, LWE matters and complimented them. After this, he met the police personnel who have excelled in different fields and appreciated their good work. DGP also reviewed the LWE issues, crime, and CCTNS work.
He also asked the police to reach out and inform them about the surrender and rehabilitation policy. DGP along with the senior officers also visited the CRPF camps of Khaprakhol and Harishankar. He interacted with the jawans and CRPF officials.
