Devotees Can Enter Puri Srimandir Without COVID Negative Report From Jan 21
Puri: Devotees will no more have to submit COVID-19 negative report to have darshan of the deities at Puri Jagannath temple from January 21, informed Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar today.
After a high-level meeting today, Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar said Devotees will no longer have to submit COVID-19 negative report while coming to Puri Srimandir for darshan of the deities from January 21.”
The devotees can have darshan of the deities from 7 AM and 30,000 devotees will be allowed to enter the temple every day. Special arrangements, queue system will be shortly introduced for elderly/senior citizens, the SJTA chief added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Puri Jagannath temple had reopened after on December 23, 2020. However, the servitors and their family members were only allowed to have Darshan of the deities.
