Puri: A devotee has donated 4.8 kgs of gold and 3.8 kgs of silver to Lord Jagannath on the auspicious occasion of Sripanchami.
The representative of the devotee has donated the jewellery at Sri Jagannath Temple office on Tuesday. The Chief Administrator of Puri temple Dr Kisan Kumar was present during the transfer of the ornaments. These ornaments will be used during different beshas of deities from time to time.
Lord Balabhadra has 40 Srimukhapadma and two numbers of Jhoba. Lord Jagannath has a share of 53 Srimukhapadma, two Jhoba and Subhadra gets two numbers of Tadaki and equal number of Jhoba.
