Jeypore: Depressed over low income from the farm produce, a farmer allegedly died by suicide after consuming pesticide.
The incident was reported from Putura village under Sadar PS in the district.
According to reports, the victim, whose identity was not known immediately, was rushed to hospital. However, he died during treatment.
Police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated a probe into the incident.
