Addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone for extension of the new terminal at Surat airport in Gujarat he said he was often asked what has been the benefit of note ban decision.
Modi said you should ask it to the youth, who could buy residential homes at affordable rates after the decision.
The real estate sector was replete with black money, but with decisions like note ban helped the government to put a check on it, he added.
