Bhubaneswar: A decomposed body of a youth was found lying in a forest under Info Valley police limits under Commissionerate Police in Bhubaneswar today.
As the body was decomposed, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
The matter came to light this morning after some locals spotted the body lying in the forest and informed the police.
On being informed, police arrived at the spot and recovered the body. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem to a nearby hospital.
It is suspected that the youth was murdered as several injury marks were seen on his body.
Further investigation in this regard is underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the exact reason behind his death.
