Bhubaneswar: Following the intensification of the cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal, intensity of rain is likely to increase across Odisha from today.
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, the cyclonic circulation over North & adjoining Central Bay of Bengal now lies over Northwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal and extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level. The systoem is likely to turn into Low Pressure Area over Northwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off Odisha-West Bengal coasts during next 24 hours.
Under its influence, the IMD has issued heavy rainfall alert for several districts till September 21. A Orange and Yellow Warnings has also been issued for several districts of Odisha.
