Cuttack City: 73 new COVID-19 positive cases detected, 2 cured
Cuttack: Out of the 76 new COVID-19 positive cases reported today in Cuttack district, 73 positive cases belong to Cuttack City, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) informed.
As per the CMC, of the 73 new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Cuttack City, 43 cases are from the Jalua Sahi, Malgodown Containment zone. All are contacts of earlier reported positive cases inside the containment zone. Besides, 13 are from Institutional Quarantine, 12 are from Home Quarantine, and five are Local Contact Cases.
Moreover, only two recoveries have been reported recently, the CMC said, while appreciating the efforts of all doctors & healthcare staff.
A total of 1794 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from Cuttack, out of which 870 are active cases while 914 persons have recovered and 10 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection.
