Cuttack City: 240 new COVID-19 positive cases detected, 316 cured
Cuttack: Out of the 357 new COVID-19 positive cases reported today in the district, 240 positive cases belong to Cuttack City, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) informed.
As per the CMC, of the 240 new COVID-19 positive cases detected in the city, 39 cases are from Institutional Quarantine, 53 cases are from Home Quarantine and 148 are Local Contact Cases.
“Another 316 recoveries have been reported recently,” the CMC said while appreciating the efforts of healthcare professionals, and all frontline workers for keeping up the relentless hard work.
A total of 8,215 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from Cuttack, out of which 2,193 are active cases while 5,986 persons have recovered and 36 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection.
