Cuttack Chandi Temple Reopens For Devotees After 9 Months

Cuttack: The most famous Maa Chandi temple in Cuttack reopened for devotees on Friday after remaining closed for over nine months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The temple authorities have made necessary arrangements to ensure hassle-free darshan of the devotees with adherence to COVID-19 guidelines. Only 20 devotees will be allowed at a time in the temple.

Baba Dhabaleswra temple in Aathagarh also reopened today. However, the families of servitors will only be allowed for darshan today. The residents of Mancheswar panchayat will be allowed to have darshan of Lord Shiva on January 9 and 10. General darshan will be permitted inside the shrine from January 11.

As per guidelines, only 50 devotees will be allowed to enter the temple at a time.

It is worth mentioning, the temple was closed for the past nine months due to restrictions induced by the covid pandemic.
