Covid vaccine supply to private CVCs in Odisha to be stopped after April 30

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has directed the District Collectors, municipal authorities, and CDM & PHOs to stop the supply of COVID vaccine to private CVCs after April 30.

The Health and Family Welfare department Additional Chief Secretary PK Mohapatra has said that the supply must stop after April 30 positively.

The Health ACS said that the previous system of private COVID Vaccination Centres (CVCs) receiving coronavirus vaccine doses from government of India will cease to exist from May 1.

All private hospitals will have to source their coronavirus supply directly from the manufacturers from the 50 per cent vaccine doses earmarked for the ‘other than government of India channels’.
