Cuttack: Taking another effort to protect humanity against this deadly virus, Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Saturday introduced ‘pick up and drop facilities’ for senior citizens for COVID-19 vaccination.
In a press briefing here, CMC Commissioner Ananya Das said that various activities are being undertaken to encourage vaccination and to boost the morale of the citizens. Following this process, the civic body introduces pick up and drop facilities for senior citizens for Covid vaccination and issues number-9777067297.”
“Vaccination is the only way one can shorten the pandemic and more than 3.5 lakh doses have been administered in the city so far. We have seen the decline of the number of positive cases in the city and gradually, these numbers will go down,” she said.
“Pick up and drop facilities for senior citizens for COVID-19 vaccination will be helpful and those who are unable to come to the vaccination will get the transportation facility from the Municipality. I hope by making such facilities the civic body can help the needy ones,” she added.
