COVID Update: Odisha Reports 332 Fresh Cases, 4 Fatalities In 24-hr

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Monday reported 332 fresh cases of coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, pushing the total tally in State to 3,24,089.

As per reports, 189 cases were reported from quarantine centres, while 143 are local contacts. The State has now 3156 active cases and 319069 recovered cases.

Sundargarh recorded the highest of 51 new cases, followed by Angul (35), Khordha (29) and Cuttack (27), according to the latest update.

On the other hand, 4 more persons succumbed to deadly infection in the 24 hours. With the fresh fatalities, the death toll mounted to 1,811, the H&FW Dept stated.

1.A 65-year-old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

2.A 32-year-old female of Dhenkanal district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

3.A 60-year-old male of Ganjam District.

4.A 73-year-old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
