Covid Threat: Returnees To Odisha From These 5 States To be Under Vigil

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the upsurge of COVID cases in the country, all the District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners and CDM&PHOs are directed to take precautionary measures at airports and railway stations on people coming to Odisha from 5 states. Returnees from the states of - Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra has urged the District Collectors and SPs to ensure that the second Corona wave does not spread rapidly. The precautionary measures may be limited to passengers from 5 high-risk States instead of 12, clarified the Health & Family Welfare Department, Odisha today.
