Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the upsurge of COVID cases in the country, all the District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners and CDM&PHOs are directed to take precautionary measures at airports and railway stations on people coming to Odisha from 5 states.
Returnees from the states of – Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh.

The precautionary measures may be limited to passengers from 5 high-risk States instead of 12, clarified the Health & Family Welfare Department, Odisha today.
Those entering through Biju Patnaik airport and Jharsuguda airport and railway stations have to undergo thermal screening if required.
