Bhubaneswar: Two more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Bolangir district and four others tested positive for the same in Puri district on Sunday.
Bolangir Collector Arindam Dakua informed the two new cases are Bandhapada panchayat under Puintala block. Total number of coronavirus cases in the district rises to six.
Containment order in Tusra- Deogaon area is withdrawn after samples collected from the area tested negative, he said.
Besides, Keeping the scheduled arrival of three trains carrying Odisha migrants from different parts of the country, the district administration imposed Section 144 in Bolangir town from 4 am to 11 pm today.
On the other hand, Puri Collector Balwant Singh informed that two of the infected cases of the district are from Puri town while one each from Konark and Pipili areas.
Of the total three were from quarantine centre and one was an accused arrested by Kumbharpada Police, the collector said.
