Cuttack: Dr. Debasis Panigrahi, the Director of Odisha Vigilance Directorate has reportedly been airlifted to Hyderabad today as his health condition continued to deteriorate after being infected with COVID-19.
The senior IPS Officer has been undergoing treatment ar a private COVID hospital in Cuttack since last week.
Notably, Panigrahi was admitted to the Ashwini COVID Hospital, Cuttack, on May 29. However, he was in ICU and later put on a ventilator after his health condition deteriorated.
Meanwhile, his oxygen level dipped continuously and he did not show any sign of improvement.
