Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive count in Bhubaneswar crossed 500-mark with the detection of 46 fresh positive cases of coronavirus on Wednesday.
As per Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 22 persons from quarantine and 24 locals contact cases have been reported in last the 24 hours.
Officials said primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and will be under active surveillance.
As many as 525 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected from the state capital so far. While seven persons in Bhubaneswar have died of COVID-19, the number of active cases stands at 222. Besides, 295 persons have recovered from the deadly infection.
