Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Sunday reported 393 fresh positive cases and 6 deaths in the last 24 hours, the government data showed.
With this, the state’s total infection tally reached to 3,21,196 while the death toll mounted to 1771.
As per the latest update, 229 were reported from quarantine centres and 164 are local contacts. Khordha district recorded highest 49 cases followed by Sundargarh district (45) and Mayurbhanj district (32).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 4,102 and recovered cases at 3,15,270.
On the other hand, six fresh fatalities were reported across the State in the past 24 hours. The fresh fatalities were reported from Balangir, Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Kalahandi and Nuapada.
1.A 47-year-old female of Balangir district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease & Hypothyroidsim.
2.A 38-year-old male of Balasore district.
3.A 69-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease & Parkinsonism.
4.A 65-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Carcinoma Tongue.
5.A 70-year-old male of Kalahandi district.
6.A 45-year-old female of Nuapada district.
