New Delhi: Coronavirus cases in India has crossed 1.65 lakh while the death toll has gone past 4,700. Highest spike of 7,466 new COVID-19 cases and 175 deaths reported in the last 24 hours in the country.

Total confirmed COVID-19 cases in India have risen to 1,65,799, according to the latest update by from the Union Health Ministry. This number includes cases involving foreign nationals, patients who have recovered and the death toll.

The reported active COVID-19 cases in India stand at 89,987, according to the Union Health Ministry.

As many as 71,105 COVID-19 patients have been cured and discharged so far.

Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat have reported the highest number of cases.

Globally, there have been over 58 lakh confirmed cases of COVID-19. At least 3.59 lakh people have died so far. The United States, Brazil, Russia, the United Kingdom and Spain are the most-affected countries.
