COVID-19: 7 Deaths, 368 More Fresh Cases Recorded In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: At least 368 fresh positive cases of coronavirus infection and 7 deaths were reported across the State in the past 24 hours, the government data showed.

With this, the COVID-19 tally rose to 321564 while the death toll in the State mounted to 1778.

As per the latest update, 212 cases were detected from quarantine centres while 156 are local contacts.  The total caseload reached 3,21,564 with 3893 active cases and 315840 recovered cases.

Khordha recorded highest 49 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (45) and Angul (30).

Similarly, the fresh deaths were reported from Cuttack district (3), Balasore district (1), Jagatsinghpur district (1), Puri district (1) and Sundargarh district (1).

1.A 56-year-old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

2.A 74-year-old male of Cuttack district.

3.A 74-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Benign Prostatic hypertrophy.

4.A 64-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease & Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.

5.A 59-year-old male of Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

6.A 50-year-old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

7.A 63-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.
