Court grants bail to Lalu Prasad, Rabri, Tejashwi in IRCTC scam

New Delhi: RJD chief Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi Yadav was granted bail in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) scam  on Monday.

The court in Delhi has granted the bail to them in IRCTC scam relating to the money laundering case. The case relates to alleged money laundering in awarding the operational contract of two IRCTC hotels to a private firm.

The Special Judge Arun Bhardwaj granted relief to the accused persons on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and one surety of the same amount each.

Reports said the court had on January 19 extended the interim bail granted to the three which ended on Monday.
