New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday rejected the anticipatory bail plea filed by former union minister P Chidambaram in the INX Media scam case.

This has dealt a big blow to the senior Congress leader as he might be arrested in the case.

Chidambaram is facing charges of corruption and money laundering in the INX Media scam. The order was passed by Justice Sunil Gaur. The judge had reserved the verdict on the bail plea on January 25 earlier this year.

In 2018, the Enforcement Directorate had registered a money laundering case in connection with the scam.
