Nuapada: A man and his wife died after being beaten by a snake in Jhitiki village under Paikamal police limits of Bargarh district.
Fortunately, their 13-month-old baby narrowly escaped from the snake attack.
The deceased couple has been identified as Sankar Pradhan and his wife Shanti Pradhan.
According to reports, the incident took place while they all were deep asleep at home.
Following this, they were rushed to Nuapada District Headquarters Hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
