Nayagarh: A couple allegedly committed suicide after testing positive for Covid-19 at Beguniapatna under Ranpur police limits of Nayagarh district.
Reportedly, the couple and their son had tested positive for Covid-19. While the couple was in home isolation, their son is undergoing treatment at Puri.
As per available information, neighbours barged into the house and found them hanging. They were rushed to a hospital where the doctor declared them dead.
Villagers suspect that the couple had apparently sunk into depression after testing positive and took the extreme step.
