Counting on May 23 at 63 locations in Odisha: CEO Surendra Kumar
Bhubaneswar: The counting for Odisha Election Result 2019 will begin from 8 am on May 23 at 63 locations having at least 7 tables each for Assembly and Lok Sabha seats, Odisha CEO Surendra Kumar informed on Tuesday.
The CEO further stated that for each counting centre, a Counting Supervisor, a Counting Assistant, and a Micro Observer will be appointed to ensure free and fair counting.
On the directives of Election Commission additional 411 counting tables have been allotted to the State to speed up the counting process, the CEO added.
Furthermore, he stated that the state will witness an average of 30 rounds of count per constituency with Patnagarh a maximum of 49 and Sambalpur a minimum of 19.
