Mumbai: To contain the spread of novel coronavirus, film bodies in India on Sunday decided to put shootings of films, TV shows and web series on hold from March 19 to March 31.
This decision was taken in a joint meeting of IMPPA, FWICE, IFTDA, IFTPC, and WIFPA held on Sunday. The decision was taken in compliance with the initiatives taken by the central and state governments.

All producers have been granted three days to ask their units shooting anywhere in India or the world to return.
The number of novel coronavirus cases in the country rose to 107 on Sunday, with 12 fresh cases in Maharashtra.
The virus, which originated in China’s Wuhan city in December, has infected more than 150,000 people worldwide and killed over 5,600.
