Cops nab event manager for sexually exploiting minor school students from Delhi
New Delhi: An event manager, who was sexually exploiting minor school students, was arrested by Delhi Police recently.
Police sources said he often targeted school students from Class 7 and 8 and threatened to upload their objectionable photographs on social media.
They said the 25-year-old man allegedly targeted private school students mainly. The accused was identified as Bharat Khattar. Khattar used to befriend the students through social media by creating fake profiles and later morphed the pictures and uploaded their nude photographs.
The cops took action after the complaints lodged by two students against Khattar. The Delhi Police launched a probe after learning that the girls received inappropriate messages from a profile.
The cops traced the accused after tracking his online activity. DCP (south) Atul Thakur said that the accused was arrested from NIT Colony, Faridabad and was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
