Mumbai: On Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan’s 32nd birthday, his father David Dhawan has officially announced the leading pair of the remake of timeless comedy Coolie No 1.
The movie stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role. Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan, who made her debut last year with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath and starred in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Varun Dhawan in the modern adaptation of the hit comedy.
Varun, who recently appeared in multi-starrer flick Kalank, will be seen romancing with the sizzling Sara Ali Khan. The shoot will commence from August 2019.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also confirmed the news on his Twitter handle.

After Judwaa 2, the film marks David and Varun’s second collaboration. With this movie, producer-director duo of Vashu Bhagnani and David Dhawan will also reunite after 25 years.
Coolie No 1 is a 1995 Indian comedy film directed by David Dhawan. The film stars Govinda, Karisma Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan and Sadashiv Amrapurkar.
