Congress threatens for Odisha bandh on Feb 15 if fuel prices are not slashed

Bhubaneswar: Congress will organise Odisha bandh on February 15 if the fuel prices are not reduced immediately, announced PCC Chief Niranjan Patnaik in Berhampur on Saturday.

Alleging both Centre and the state responsible for the fuel price rise, Patnaik said the Congress demands reduction of at least Rs 10 in the existing fuel price.

He said the situation has come to such a pass that a common man thinks a number of times before riding his vehicle.

Further, Patnaik described BJD as “Bichitra Janata Dal” and added that in the past twenty years the party has done precious little than to open liquor shops in the state. He claimed that the welfare activities in Ganjam have been done by Congress alone.
