Cuttack: Veteran Odia film actor Mihir Das died on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Cuttack.
As soon as the death news of the actor surfaced, console nce messages started pouring in from all quarters.
Confirming about Mihir Das’ death, Odia Cine Artists Association Secretary, Sritam Dash said that he breathed his last while being treated at a private hospital.
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal and CM Naveen Patnaik also expressed grief over the death of the veteran actor.
Other noted actors include Pushpa Panda, Aparajita Mohanty, Uttam Mohanty, Tandra Ray, Babushan Mohanty, Pradyumna Lenka, Prashanta Nanda, Buddhaditya Mohanty, Tatwa Prakash Satapathy, Pragyan Shankar Khatua also express condolence on demise noted Ollywood actor Das.
The actor was suffering from kidney ailments for the past few years. He was admitted to the Ashwini Hospital in Cuttack after his health condition deteriorated on December 9 last year.
