Cold wave conditions to intensify in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has predicted that the cold wave conditions in Odisha will intensify from tomorrow.

Reportedly, the minimum temperature is likely to dip by 1-2 degrees over the coastal belt of Odisha during the next two days. Similarly, the temperature is expected to fall by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius below normal.

On the other hand, night temperature is expected to hover around 10-11 degrees in many places of the State.

Besides, shallow to moderate fog conditions will be seen in Cuttack, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Kalahandi, and Malkangiri district.

The night temperature in Bhubaneswar will drop by a maximum of 2 degrees.

The cold wave conditions will again sweep Odisha after New Year, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted on Monday.
