Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions prevailed in most parts of the state with Daringibadi in Kandhamal district remaining to be the coldest place in the state.
While Daringibadi recorded a minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius followed by Titlagarh in west Odisha with a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius, Angul recorded a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulbani at 8.5 degrees Celsius, Sonepur at 9 degrees Celsius and Keonjhar at 9.8 degrees Celsius.
Moreover, the Meteorological Centre here said that minimum temperature is likely to rise by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius gradually across the state over the next three days.
The minimum temperature is expected to fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the state, while shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at some places during the days.
Besides, light to moderate rainfall is predicted in several districts including Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Bolangir, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Bargarh, Mayurbhanj and Nuapada from today.
