Coal-Laden Train Catches Fire In Balasore, No Casualty

Balasore: A coal-laden train caught fire at Soro railway station in Balasore district on Saturday. No casualty was reported in the fire mishap.

As per reports, the fire broke out in the train while it was on its way to West Bengal from Bhadrak. Locals first spotted the blaze emanating from three bogies of the train. They immediately informed the railway officials about this. The officials then called the fire brigades to put out the fire.

After receiving information, two fire tenders rushed to the spot and controlled the blaze. The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. After one and a half hours, the train was dispatched.
