Coal-laden goods train catches fire in Bolangir
Bolangir: A coal-laden goods train which was moving towards Raipur in Chhattisgrah reportedly caught fire twice on the way in Bolangir district on Friday morning.
According to sources, a coal-laden goods train was headed to Raipur from Visakhapatnam when it caught fire at Rahenbata in Bolangir this morning. After spotting the blaze, fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.
However, the blaze was made under control and the goods train resumed its service when it once again caught fire at Muribahal station in the district.
While the exact reason behind the fire mishap is yet to be ascertained, fire services personnel have reportedly doused the flames.
